CONTROLLING MAINTENANCE
SPARES INVENTORY
Tool-Track provides you with a maintenance inventory
database to store part data. Each part is stored displaying:
Part No.
Part Name
Vendor Name
Alternate Vendor
Category (of part) e.g. Hydraulic or Electrical
Location
Quantity in Stock
Reorder Threshold
Unit Cost
Total Stock Value (of part)
Reorder Quantity
Quantity on open repair
The part can also be assigned to a Machine and/or
a Tool or one of 4 codes to suit the user.
Additional information may be stored against each
part.
Stock Control: As each part is
used, Tool-Track deducts it from the Inventory list.
At the minimum stock threshold, it flags the need
for replenishment of stock in the Inventory Exception
Report.
This report shows all shortages with Part Number,
Part Name, Vendor, Re-order Threshold and Current
Stock, i.e. All the information required by your buying
department, enabling you to simply print it off and
pass it on.
When the parts come in, you simply update the Inventory
