Tool-Track’s Tool database
holds the following information:
Tool ID: Your
own unique identification for the Tool.
Cavity ID: The
unique number associated with this tool to identify
the tool and the parts
after
manufacture.
No. of cavities: The
number of parts produced in one cycle
Customer name: *The
name of the company that owns the tool (if applicable)
Customer Tool No: The number
of the tool allotted by the owner (if applicable)
Revision Level: The
current revision level of this tool (if applicable)
ECN No: The
current Engineering Change Number (if applicable)
Part number: *The
part number produced by this tool
Part name: The
name of the part produced by tool
Location/Dept: *The
place where the tool is normally kept in the tool
crib. Alternatively, the department
to which the tool is assigned, or, if Tool-Track is
used in multi-site operations,
the site where the tool is normally located.
Machine: *Used
to identify the machine, type of machine or group
of machines this too runs
in.
PM Class: The
class of PM (Planned Maintenance) i.e. either “cycles
run”, or “date based”
scheduling.

Tool-Track creates a drop down box list to facilitate
data entry.
